I have recently taken up face painting and I LOVE IT! I love to paint and I love children so its the perfect combination. I would love to make this a career. Let me know if you would want any face painting done or know of anything that could help me make face painting a job.
Thank you my dear friend Cyndi and the adorable Oakason girls for letting me paint on your face.

Childhood friends
I find it amazing how the 15 page books, or the half hour cartoons we read and watched as children can have such a lasting impression. I find my self quoting children's books daily, When Im at a stop light I catch myself saying "Go dogs go the light is green now" or "stop dogs stop the light is red now". When people make fun of my shortness I always tell them " A persons a person no matter how small". I often wonder if the writers knew that their sweet simple rhymes were going to last for years or if they knew parents and children alike would be quoting them. I wonder if Dr Seuss knew that his rhymes would be used to teach children about tolerance, trying knew things, or given to graduates and missionarys. Those wonderful books and pictures get children to imagine and pretend to be the wild things while their parents read. I think it takes a special kind of person to be able to create such a safe haven for children. But lets not forget the wonderful illustrators that are able to bring these stories to life. Jumanji wouldn't be nearly as intriguing if it weren't for the beautiful pictures. The mitten would be nearly as effective if it weren't for the pictures, imagine a bear climbing inside of a mitten, with the aid of the beautiful illustrations Jan Brett you can and it sparks your imagination to other possibility. I feel it is very important that children develop these friendships with Arthur, Sam I Am, the star bellied sneetches Max and his wild things, the man in the yellow hat and his pet monkey. So they can learn and take advantage of the wonderful things these simple rhymes have to offer.
